Prof. Dr. Klaus Fraedrich，Max Planck Institute of Meteorology in Hamburg, Germany. Awards (selected) are Lewis Frey Richardson Medal (European Geophysical Union), International Cooperation Award (Jiangsu, China), Alfred Wegener Medal (DMG), Stefan Hepites Award (Romania), Academy of Sciences (Hamburg), Gay Lussac Prize (France), Max Planck-Humboldt Prize (Germany), Distinguished Overseas Scientist (Melbourne, Australia), Max Planck Fellow. He has published more than 200 papers about nonlinear dynamics, climate change, ensemble forecasting, and so on.
